Contact usThe Eurochain VX electric chain hoist is available in load capacities ranging from 63 kg to 2,500 kg, depending on the model and reeving configuration. For multi-fall configurations, higher capacities can be achieved. Please refer to the product datasheet or contact our technical team for the exact configuration suited to your application.
The Eurobloc VT is a wire rope hoist designed for standard industrial applications with load capacities up to 50 tonnes, offering compact design and high reliability. The Eurobloc VF is the variable-frequency drive variant, featuring variable speed control for precise load handling and reduced mechanical stress on the structure. The VF range is ideal for applications requiring fine positioning or sensitive load management.
VERLINDE's Exproof product range is certified for use in explosive or hazardous atmospheres (ATEX zones). These hoists comply with ATEX directives and are available in electric and manual variants. They are engineered for use in chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, and other environments where ignition risk must be eliminated. Contact us with your ATEX zone classification for product selection assistance.
Yes. All VERLINDE lifting equipment is designed and manufactured in compliance with the European Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), EN 14492-2 for electric hoists, and EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards. Our manufacturing facility in Vernouillet, France is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified.
VERLINDE hoists are designed to FEM (Fédération Européenne de la Manutention) duty classification standards, covering usage groups from 1Am to 4m and mechanism groups from M3 to M8. The exact classification depends on the product range and configuration. You can find the FEM classification details in the product technical documentation or our press books.
Installation must be carried out by a qualified and authorised technician following the instructions provided in the product installation manual. Key steps include verifying the structural integrity of the support beam, assembling the trolley and hoist, connecting to the correct power supply voltage, and performing a no-load and rated-load test before putting into service. Full installation documentation is available in the press books section or upon request.
Jib crane installation requires a reinforced concrete foundation or a structural steel column capable of bearing the dynamic and static loads specified in the crane's technical datasheet. The installation area must have sufficient clearance, and all anchoring bolts must meet the specifications provided. VERLINDE recommends that a structural engineer validates the installation site prior to commissioning.
Yes. Commissioning of lifting equipment must be performed by a trained and authorised technician. VERLINDE and its certified service network provide commissioning services to ensure the equipment is correctly set up, load-tested, and complies with all relevant safety regulations before entering service. Contact your local VERLINDE service centre to arrange commissioning.
The duration of a commissioning visit depends on the type and complexity of the equipment. A standard electric chain hoist commissioning typically takes 2 to 4 hours, while larger systems such as wire rope hoists or overhead cranes may require a full day or more. Your local service centre can provide a time estimate based on your specific installation.
According to EN 13157 and applicable national regulations, lifting equipment must undergo periodic inspection at least once a year by a competent person. Depending on usage intensity (FEM classification and number of operating cycles), more frequent inspections may be required. VERLINDE's service network offers tailored maintenance plans to keep your equipment in peak condition.
A VERLINDE preventive maintenance contract typically includes scheduled inspection visits, lubrication and adjustment of mechanical components, brake testing and calibration, electrical safety checks, load limit device verification, and a written inspection report. Contracts can be customised based on the number of units, usage intensity, and site requirements.
Common indicators that your hoist requires servicing include unusual noises during operation, reduced braking performance, visible wear on the hook, chain, or wire rope, overheating of the motor, error codes on the control unit, or the equipment failing a routine load test. If you observe any of these signs, stop using the equipment immediately and contact your nearest VERLINDE service centre.
